Michael K. Evans, Ph.D., Chief Economist Dr. Evans has more than 30 years of forecasting experience and is a renowned econometrician. In 1999, he received the Annual Blue Chip Economic Forecasting Award for the most accurate macroeconomic forecasts of the previous four years. As the founder and president of Chase Econometrics, he built the notable Chase Econometric Forecasting Model. His experience includes constructing an econometric model of the gaming industry and an econometric model to predict consumer bankruptcies, and modeling tax revenues at the federal, state, and local levels. He has published extensively and has presented testimony before federal, state, and local bodies. Dr. Evans taught at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
